Election Outcome
The Conservation Society congratulates Trish Doyle (Labor) on her re‑election.
At the close of counting on the night of the election she had 54% of the primary vote.
Overview
The Society's theme for this election is "The Blue Mountains - Let It Be".
The Blue Mountains that we know and love continues to be under threat. Our Threats webpage describes these threats and includes videos explaining them.
A questionnaire was sent to all known candidates with a firm closing date of the 5 March. Their responses are now on the website.
A Candidates' Forum was held on 25 February where candidates had the opportunity to address the meeting and were asked questions from the audience.
Voting
Electoral rolls closed on Monday 6th March.
Pre-poll voting opens on Saturday 18 March at three locations in the Blue Mountains - at Katoomba, Springwood and Blaxland.

The Blue Mountains Electorate
Following a redistribution of electoral boundaries, the Blue Mountains electorate will include all of Blaxland, Glenbrook and Lapstone for this election. It now matches the Blue Mountains Local Government Area.
